Due to the periodic flushing of heating systems, it is possible to effectively get rid of lime deposits, oxide films and various layers that accumulate on the surfaces of the internal cavities of pipes and heating units during its operation.

In many heating systems installed in residential buildings, water containing a large amount of various impurities, from acids to alkalis of metals, in combination with other inorganic and organic inclusions is used as a heat carrier. Chemical reactions lead to the formation of oxide films on the internal surfaces of pipelines, due to which, as well as due to other deposits, the flow area of the pipelines decreases.

The flushing procedure on mode can be carried out when the heating system is turned on, which helps to prevent problems associated with shutdown and pressure testing. The procedure of equipment flushing on mode is carried out by means of innovative equipment developed by the engineers of ASGARD-Service Company – Pneumatic Impulse Unit (PnIU).

The work of PnIU is based on the following approximate scheme: a certain amount of compressed nitrogen or air is pumped into the airgun (the use of compressed air or nitrogen is necessary to prevent the occurrence of chemical reactions triggered by the interaction of pipe material and gases). Then the installation of PnIU (equipped with a drain hose) is connected to the pipeline. Further, a sharp supply of gas is produced under pressure from PnIU into the system. During the compression phase, deposits are torn off from the pipes. Removal of deposits is carried out in the drainage tank using PnIU.

Flushing with the help of a pulse-wave method is carried out before the beginning of the flow of clean water into the drainage tank. This factor will determine the quality of cleaning.

This cleaning method is safe because it is not associated with water hammer. The use of this method contributes to a significant reduction in time and an increase in the quality of flushing. In addition, chemical reagents are not needed for flushing, which contributes to a significant reduction in the cost of work for customers.
